売り場面積がヨーロッパ最大を誇るという巨大な百貨店 ギャラリー・ラファイエット。
中央にある吹き抜けの部分は、とてもゴージャスな装飾が施されています。
ステンドグラスの様なトップライトも迫力がすごい。
下にあるお店は（よく見ていませんけど）日本の百貨店の変わらない様な、香水やら化粧品が売ってるきらびやかなブランド化粧品ゾーンでした。
ちなみに（最近、ドラマ新参者効果で「ちなみに」が多い）このときすごく喉が渇いていて、売場のキツい香水の匂いに呼吸困難の危機に直面しながら、飲み物売ってるところを探していました。
日本のようにコンビニや自販機がないし、探すのにだいぶ彷徨って苦労しました。
