今年の初詣はヨメさんの前厄払いも兼ねて、滋賀にある立木観音へ。
運悪く、スゴく風の冷たい日に行ってしまいまい、凍えました。
立木観音はお堂に行くためには約800段の険しい階段を上らなければなりません。
この階段が険しいので、厄払いのお祓いをしなくても、その効果があるらしい。
スゴくお寺に都合の良いシステムな気がしますが…
ちなみに滋賀には「立木観音」の他に「立木神社」という全然別のもあって、
「立木観音」と検索すると「立木神社」が広告を出しているというカオス。
僕たち、はじめ完全に間違えて「立木神社」に行ってしまい、階段がないというので間違いに気づいたのでした。
「立木観音」で広告出してる「立木神社」ってちょっと悪質過ぎる。
階段を上り終えると、お堂があり、またその上に階段が続いていました。
お参りにも順序があるらしく、正式なルートだと4カ所ほどパンパンとお参りしなきゃいけない。
これもお賽銭集めの上手い仕組みだなぁと内心思ってしまいました。
最後の階段は順番待ちで上に行くまで30分ほどかかりました。
「もういいかなぁ」とも思いましたが、ヨメさんの厄払いなのでガマン。
一番上まで行き、鐘を一人ずつ突いて厄除完了！
配られていたあたたかい梅こぶ茶を飲んで、少し暖まる。
これから毎年お参りしなきゃいけないらしい立木観音でした。
